Japanese Woodblock Printing - A Two Day Introduction with Adrian Holmes
Join printmaker Adrian Holmes for a print workshop in the wonderful art of Japanese woodblock printmaking. Traditional Japanese woodblock printing is a beautiful meditative print process. Learn in a relaxed, scenic and enjoyable atmosphere and create a beautiful woodblock print with an emphasis on experimentation and play. This workshop is aimed at everyone, from beginners to printmakers wanting to learn this beautiful technique.
Adrian is a highly qualified woodblock print workshop  leader who has spent many years teaching in the U.K and Japan. Adrian is  extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his craft and an  incredibly kind and supportive tutor.
Other Info: All  materials are included in the course fee, along with tea and coffee.  Group numbers will be kept small to ensure quality individual attention  and guidance from the Adrian. 
Wear something that can be splashed without disaster, although it is not a particularly messy process. Whilst not compulsory you may wish to bring:
- Any sketches or photos that inspire you 
- Your own watercolours (which must be in tubes) as the tutor will just have basic colours 
- Any favourite paint brushes 
- A pack lunch, or there is a cafe on site
